Review: Watch This Before Buying the Ninja Air Fryer Pro

Today, I want to share my detailed review of the Ninja Air Fryer Pro. I purchased the Ninja Air Fryer Pro during Black Friday 2021 with high expectations. One standout feature that drew me in was its ability to flip up and out of the way, creating more counter space. However, my enthusiasm dwindled after three months of use, as several issues began to emerge.

Included Accessories

  • 13x13-inch sheet pan
  • Wire rack
  • 13x13-inch air fryer basket
  • Removable crumb tray
  • Cookbook (misplaced, unfortunately)

Issues and Regrets

Warped Sheet Pan

About three months in, the 13x13-inch sheet pan developed warped spots despite using foil for protection. Attempts to clean it with dishwashing liquid, power wash, and soft scrub sponges were unsuccessful, leaving it bumpy and unsightly.

Discoloration and Difficult Cleaning

The air fryer basket and wire rack began to discolor around the same time. Food often got stuck in the wire mesh, requiring extensive scrubbing and soaking, yet it never fully cleaned. The crumb tray, essential for catching grease and crumbs, became impossible to remove, complicating the cleaning process. Even with multipurpose spray, power wash, and oven cleaner, persistent discoloration and chemical odors rendered the oven unusable.

Leaking and Cooling Fan Issues

Flipping the oven without thorough cleaning caused oils and juices to spill onto the counter. Additionally, the cooling fan stopped indicating when it was safe to flip the oven, a feature I previously relied on.

Conclusion

My positive experience with the Ninja blender led me to try the Ninja Air Fryer Pro, but after a year of use, I was disappointed. Following a year of persistent issues, I gave up and bought the Nuwave Bravo XL during Black Friday 2022, hoping for a better experience.

Final Thoughts

While the Ninja Air Fryer Pro has attractive features and capabilities, my experience highlighted significant drawbacks that overshadowed its benefits. Consider these points before making your purchase.

Until next time, peace out.
